Project: Localisation and along-rift linkage of extension and implications for geothermal potential in Main Ethiopian Rift

My research objectives: I aim to define the structure and connectivity of rift segment linkage, as well as understand how fault networks and underlying magma systems influence the characteristics of volcanic and geothermal activity, including the location of volcanic vents and geothermal manifestations. Ultimately, I will integrate my data to assess the variability of geothermal potential across and along the Main Ethiopian Rift (EAR).
