Workshop 2 - STRETCHING
Workshop 2 was held on May 11-17, 2025 in Florence, Italy. We had the participation of most of the consortium, including PIs, Dcs, industrial partners and Advisory Board members. On the first day the workshop the TALENTS mid-term meeting was held with our EU project officer, Apostolos Paralikas. The Dcs presented their first year achievements in their individual PhD projects and we had time to discuss the consortium plans for 2025 and 2026. There were many scientific talks and discussions on geothermal resources, hydrogen exploration and CO2 storage. The last day of the workshop was reserved for a field trip to the Larderello geothermal field.

Workshop 1: ACTIVE
The first TALENTS workshop was held in Greece at the Corinth Gulf Rift in September 2024. The network members introduced themselves and the DCs presented their initial research projects. Leading scientists from within and outside the network encouraged the DCs to critically examine their methods and results in a fertile and constructive environment. The consortium also had the opportunity to jointly discuss the implementation of the Project during the year 2025.
